King asgore is the central antagonist of Undertale.
What Makes Him sympathetic[]
- He and his people lost a war to humanity and were banished to the underground
- While he would start a family, His son Asriel would be killed by humans, this caused him to declare war on them. Leading to his wife leaving him
- He has no selfish motives and his only goal is to free his people and avenge his son's death
- in most routes he is killed by the reincarnation of his own son, Flowey.
