Misanthropes are Sympathetic villains who possess an extreme hatred for humanity and/or their species of origin. Misanthropy can lead to villains committing terrible crimes as they no longer have compassion towards their fellow people and in fact despise them. If the Sympathetic villain goes too far, they may eventually become a Cataclysm.
