Count Bleck formerly known as Lord Blumiere, is the central antagonist of the 2007 Nintendo Wii video game Super Paper Mario.
He is a mysterious figure who wanted to end all worlds with the power of the Chaos Heart by summoning the Void supposedly so he can create new worlds in their place, when in fact he intends to keep them in ruin.
What makes him sympathetic?[]
- He fell in love with a woman named Tipani that was outside his tribe.
- Lord Blumiere loved her so much that he was ready to break his tribe's taboo of marrying people outside his tribe which would weaken his magical capabilities.
- His father teleported Tipani to another dimension in order to prevent their marriage which leaves Lord Blumiere heartbroken.
- During his search for his lost love, Lord Blumiere saves a bat named nastasia from a web.
- While Lord Blumiere renames himself Count Bleck and decides to destroy all of existence, the reason for this is because after his lack of success in his search for Tipani, he decides that he would destroy everything that took her away from him and then join her in the afterlife.
- Count Bleck was partially manipulated by Dimention to carry out his evil plans.
- After he is defeated and left in a weakened state, Count Bleck himself feels remorse for his actions and wants to die. However, Tippi, who still loves him, wouldn't do it and forgives him.
- After Nastasia sacrifices her life to save Count Bleck's life, Bleck is devastated and cries out her name.
- Count Bleck, who has become Lord Blumiere again, redeems himself. He marries Tippi and the two demonstrate their love to one another.
- Lord Blumiere and Tippi then bring the Pure Hearts to Mario who uses them to defeat Dimention and save the multiverse.
- In the end Lord Blumiere and Tippi live happily ever after in another dimension.
