Trilla Suduri, also known as the Second Sister, is the main antagonist of the 2019 video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and a minor character in the 2017-2018 Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith comic book series.
She is a former Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66 but was tortured and focibly turned into an Inquisitor by the Empire. In the game she is tasked with hunting down Cal Kestis, a fugitive Jedi Padawan, who also survived Order 66.
What makes her sympathetic?[]
- She was once a Jedi Padawan before being captured by the Empire, tortured for a long period of time and forced to become an Inquisitor.
- A flashback from her past shows that she was once a good person. She tried to protect a group of children from the Clone Troopers and calmed down one of them when he was afraid. She also had genuine affection to her Master, Cere Junda.
- Cere Junda was captured by the Clones and was brutally tortured to reveal the location of her Padawan. This directly leads to Trilla also getting captured which causes a feeling of betrayal and resetment towards her mentor. This is one of the reasons why she turns to the Dark Side.
- After the final battle, Cere apologises to Trilla and the two of them reconcile and Trilla finally stops resenting her former mentor and fights against the Dark Side.
- Before Trilla is able to fully redeem herself, she is killed by Darth Vader. Her last words to Cere are "Avenge us!".
